Diploma of Associate Engineering in Electronics Technology

The objective of the Diploma level education in Electronics is to fill the gap between university graduate engineers and the skilled workers trained at the Technical Training Centers.

The scheme of studied includes, among other things, Electrical & Electronic network, Motor & Generators, Radio Transmitters and Receivers of all types, T.V. Circuits & System including Studio Practice, Industrial Electronics, Microprocessor & Micro-Computer, Telecommunication covering F.M. Links, Fibre Optics and Satellite Communication, Microwave and Radar etc.

N.B. Morning and Evening Shift Programs in DAE Electronics are identical in all respects except in timings i.e. 9:00 A.M. to 2:50 P.M. in the Morning shift and 3:00 P.M. to 8:50 in the Evening shift.

Age Limits at the time of Admission

Note:
  • Maximum age limit is relaxable up to two years in case of Rural Area Candidates. Selection is made on the basis of merit of academic record, Admission test and Interview.

  • Physical fitness certificate by a Registered Medical Practitioner is essential.

  • A candidate shall be rejected outright for using unfair means to secure admission.

  • The decision of the Institute in respect of admission will be final.
Examination

The Board of Technical Education (SBTE) conducts the examination and awards the Diploma of Associate Engineer (DAE) to successful candidates.
