Eligibility
The minimum academic requirement for eligibility of candidates to apply
for admission is:
Intermediate, Pre- Engineering or Equivalent qualification Minimum 55%
marks. OR
DAE Electronic, Electrical, Mechanical to Civil Technology - Minimum
60% marks. OR
Diploma in Computer Science from any recognized Board of Technical Education
- Minimum 50 % marks along with HSC Pre - Engineering certificate.
Selection for admission will be made on the basis of merit as obtained
through the admission test, interview and academic record.
BCS Program Registration & Enrolment
Student who have been selected for admission in the
BCS Program shall have to submit duly attested documents given below
to complete the registration and enrolment formalities.
- Intermediate Part - II Certificate and Mark Sheet
- Matriculation Part- II Certificate and Mark Sheet
- Migration Certificate of the University/Board concerned, except
in the case of AIT
- Equivalence Certificate in the case of applicant holding certificates/degree
issued by the foreign Board/ Universities.
- Four copies of recent passport size photograph.
- Character Certificate issued by the Head of the last Education
Institute attended.
Equivalence
For the purpose of determining merit, the candidates
having passed Cambridge High School Certificate Examination with Mathematics,
Physics and Chemistry or the General Certificate of Education (A Level)
with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, the grades obtained in these
examinations will be equated follows:

Medical Fitness
Every Candidate selected for admission will have to
produce a certificate of Medical Fitness from a Registered Medical Practitioner.
Rejection of Application
The Principal can reject any application to cancel/withdraw
any admission of a student without assigning any reason.
Employment / Simultaneous Enrolment
The Programme leading to B.C.S. Degree is regular
full time day programme and no student admitted in this Institute shall
be allowed to engage himself in simultaneous enrolment in any other
courses of studies in other Educational Institutions. Violation of above
may lead to cancellation of admission.
Submission of Application for Admission
1. Candidates for admission must submit their Applications
neat and complete in all respects in their own handwriting. The Prospectus
and Application Form can be obtained from the Reception Counter of the
Institute on payment of Rs. 500/=.
2. Candidates for admission will have to deposit a Registration Fee
of Rs. 100.
3. The candidates applying for admission must attach two attested
copies of the following:

Matriculation (SSC) Marks Sheet.

Intermediate (HSC)/ Diploma Marks Sheet.

NCC Training (If applicable)
- Hafiz-e-Quran (If applicable)
4. Original documents should not be attached. The originals are produced
at the time of interview.
5. Application Form, and the documents attached with
the Application Form shall not be returned.
6. Incomplete Application shall not be considered.
7. The Application shall be rejected in case the
candidate is found guilty of suppression or misrepresentation of material
facts.
8. Selected candidates for admission will be informed
of their selection by post. The names of all selected candidates will
be displayed on the Institute Notice Board also.
Admission Test / Interview

An Admission Test will be conducted equivalent to the standard of
Intermediate Science (HSC), Examination.

The Admission Test shall be held at the Institute and the candidates
should reach the Institute by the time specified on the Admit Card.
Late comers shall not be allowed to take the Test.

The applicants are required to write their answers using pen only
on the given answer sheets.

The candidates shall be required to appear before an interview
committee for final selection. The schedule of interviews shall be
displayed on the Notice Board of the Institute.
Admission Criteria
The Admission Committee will process the applications
on the basis of merit as determined by the applicant's previous academic
record, his/her performance in the Admission Test and Interview. Different
weightages are assigned to these selection criteria as detailed below:

For applicants possessing B.Sc. Degree the marks of
B.Sc. shall be considered if these are better than marks obtained in
Intermediate (HSC).

the fee in the MCB, SESSI Branch, Karachi through prescribed Challan,
copy of which is to be submitted along with the following documents
(in original) for registration with the Institute at the Reception
Counter of the Institute. |

The admission is liable to cancellation should the
candidates be found guilty of suppression or misrepresentation of
material facts at any stage. |

Should a candidate fail to take admission as required
under para (1) above and does not join his/her class on or before
the specified date, his/her seat will be declared vacant and will
be filled up from the candidates on the waiting list. |

The Principal will be competent Authority to cancel
or withdraw admission of any candidates after hearing him/her. |
Retention of documents photocopies
According to the Rules of the Institute the following documents of the
candidate admitted in the Institute shall be retained invariable and
permanently by the Institute.
a) HSC (Pre-Engg) / Diploma Examination Marks Sheet and/or Marks Sheet
of qualifying Examination in original.
b) Photostats of all other documents required by the Institute.
The above documents shall not be made available to the students concerned
either in original or photostat. However, in exceptional cases the photostat
of the required documents can be provided to the candidate on submission
of his/her application on the prescribed from on payment of Rs. 10/-
each on the notice of 7 days.
