Sir Syed University of Engineering Technology has a unique character in that it is amongst the very few Universities of the world which has been established exclusively by the Alumni to repay their debt. The Alumni of Aligarh University (India), as their moral obligation and national duty, have exclusively contributed to the establishment of Sir Syed University of Engineering & Technology to reintroduce and rejuvenate the noble cause and mission of Sir Syed Ahmed Khan and to provide excellence in educating the youth of this country. Now that the foundation has been laid, it is the duty of all of us to keep this university abreast with the latest developments in the field of Engineering and Science.
With a long term vision and clearly defined strategic milestones, the Management of SSUET has embarked upon this overwhelming task of bringing this University at par with leading International Institutions. Hence all efforts are underway for transforming Sir Syed University into a truly modern, state of the art and elite University of 21st Century. What is now required is a focused and full hearted support of each and every stakeholder of the University to achieve this monumental and historical task.
The Faculty, Alumni, Students and Staff once again need to work with the same ‘Aligarh Spirit’ to transform Sir Syed University of Engineering & Technology into one of the top National University and let it be written down in the history that: ‘They were the ones who did it’.
