PG Test Interviews Schedule

Note:
The admit card will be accessible on the admission portal for candidates who have paid the fee and completed the verification process. It will be available two days before the scheduled test date.

Announcements:
Test Instruction MBA/MS Program:
* SSUET/NTS GAT(General) test must be passed with 50% marks, before admission.
* An Interview must be cleared that shall be conducted by the departmental postgraduate committee
Note: Valid GRE/HAT/NTS General, conducted by testing bodies accredited by HEC with a required passing score is accepted against SSUET GAT. A valid Gat Card is to be uploaded.
Test Instruction for Ph.D. Program:
* NTS GAT(General) test must be passed with 60% marks.
* In addition GAT Subjective conducted by SSUET must also be passed with a 60% mark before admission.
* An Interview must be cleared that shall be conducted by the departmental postgraduate committee

MS, MBA Programs Eligibility:

Education: Sixteen years of schooling or 4-year education after HSSC or equivalent (minimum 124 credit hours), in relevant discipline from HEC-recognized degree awarding institutes, with minimum 2.0 CGPA or 6 0% marks (1st Division)

Note: For equivalent studies in relevant disciplines, an HEC verification and equivalence certificate of 16 years of education is mandatory.

Test: The SSUET GAT (General) / HAT (General) / NTS (General) test must be passed with 50% marks, prior to admission in the MS Program.

Interview: The candidate has to appear in an interview that shall be conducted by the departmental Postgraduate Admission Committee.

Ph.D. Requirements:

 Education:

1 – HEC-recognized Master’s degree (MS, MPhil or equivalent) in relevant discipline with a minimum CGPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 (in the semester system) or First Division (in the annual system), whether such degree was obtained from Pakistani or foreign universities.
2 – If the CGPA/Percentage is not mentioned on the transcript, the candidate must produce equivalent weightage from the parent university.

Test: SSUET/NTS/HAT GAT(General) test must be passed with 60% marks, prior to admission in the PhD Program in the area of specialization.

Interview: An interview must be cleared and shall be conducted by the departmental Postgraduate Admission Committee.

Statement of Purpose: Applicants are required to submit a statement of purpose covering the following points:
a) Title of the potential research proposal
b) Clear articulation of the current understanding of the intended field and ideas for potential research
c) Explanation of the intended impact of the proposed research
d) The prospective candidates shall demonstrate passion and enthusiasm for the area of research

Admission Process

1-Online Application
Start online Application Submission
Click on the Apply Online button to fill the Online application form. Register your Email ID to login the first time OR use your registered Email ID and Password.
2-Filling Form
Fill The Form and Upload Documents
Fill the required information carefully and upload the picture and the required documents.
3-Fee Submission
Deposit Fee and Collect Admit Card

After completing all Form requirements, Fee Challan will be issued that you have to submit in the MCB branch or use the ONLINE fee submission option. After payment, you will receive Admit Card via Email.

4-Online Aptitude Test
Computer-Based SSUET GAT Test
On the specified date and schedule, you have to attempt a Computer-Based SSUET GAT test (General or Subjective) as per MS or Ph.D. admission.
5-Result Announcement
Test Result and Merit List
On the specified date, the SSUET GAT test result will be announced and the passed candidates will be called for Interview on the scheduled date.
6-Admission Offer
Merit List and Final Admission Offer
Based on the SSUET GAT test marks and Interview merit is generated and the candidate is offered admission in MS/PhD program as per candidate preference. The seat is reserved after the payment of admission fee as per the given challan.
