HEC Group G Hockey Championship Qualifying round was organized by Sir Syed University of Engineering & Technology. Three Teams from Karachi Participated in this Championship. Olympian Islah Uddin was the Chief Guest at the opening ceremony of the championship. SSUET beat Hamdard University by 3-0 and won the final match against Karachi University by 2-1. Sir Syed University was defending Champion of the championship; SSUET got the 01st Position & qualify for the Final round. Dr. Farhan Essa was the Chief Guest at the Closing Ceremony of the Championship.
Sixteen Universities in Pakistan Participated in the Final Round. SSUET Hockey Team is one of the top Hockey teams in Private Sector Universities.
