ORIC organized a seminar on “Company Formation and Registration in Pakistan”
In order to promote entrepreneurship and startup culture, the Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC) has organized a seminar on “Company Formation and Registration in Pakistan” with the collaboration of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) on August 21, 2024, at Bashir A. Malik Auditorium of Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology.
Company formation refers to the process of legally establishing a new business entity and it sets the stage for the business to operate, grow and achieve its goals in a structured and compliant manner. Company formation involves defining the company’s ownership structure and governance framework.
Registrar/Incharge CRO Karachi, SECP, Mr. Sidney Custodio Pereira was the Guest of honor, while Assistant Registrar SECP, Mr. Danish Raza delivered the informative presentation regarding the formation of Companies in Pakistan.
In the end, Vice Chancellor Dr. Munawar Hussain along with Registrar Cdre. (r) Syed Sarfraz Ali, Dean Faculty of Computing & Applied Sciences, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Asif, Prof. Dr. Mehboob, Prof. Dr. Rabia Noor Enam, Syed Muhammad Riaz ul Haq, Dr. Angila Rahim and others presented souvenirs to Mr. Sidney Custodio Pereira and Mr. Danish Raza.
