KARACHI, March 6, 2025 – Sir Syed University of Engineering & Technology has officially announced the appointments of Convenors for three key departments: the Literary Art & Culture Forum, Sports, and the Research Journal/Newsletter. The distinguished poet Tariq Sabzwari has been appointed as the Convenor of the Literary Art & Culture Forum, while Wasif Nazar Siddiqui has taken on the role of Convenor for Sports. Additionally, Masood Alam has assumed the position of Convenor for the Research Journal and Newsletter. These appointments represent a significant advancement in enhancing student engagement at SSUET in the areas of research, sports, and cultural activities.
Tariq Sabzwari, the Convenor of the Literary Art and Cultural Forum, is a prominent poet and cultural advocate dedicated to exploring the connections between literary creativity and cultural engagement. His role is crucial in fostering creativity and cultural expression within the university.
