SSUET Discusses Joint Venture With Saylani Welfare

Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Vali Uddin and Registrar Cdre. Syed Sarfraz Ali of SSUET along with Dean Faculty of Electronic and Computer Engineering, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Aamir, Dean Faculty of Civil Engineering & Architecture, Prof. Dr. Mir Shabbar Ali, Dean Faculty of Computing and Applied Science, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Asif had a meeting with the Founder of Saylani Welfare International Trust, Maulana Muhammad Bashir Farooq (Sitara e Imtiaz), on December 14, 2023 to discuss the options of joint venture for addressing the issues of Thalassemia patients. The progress of the MoU signed between the two organizations was also reviewed.

Sir Syed University has already signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Saylani Welfare International Trust to promote technological advancement in Karachi. Both organizations are interested in empowering the youth by introducing new technologies and the latest trends to compete in the global market.

Maulana Muhammad Bashir Farooq (Sitata e Imtiaz), Founder of Sailani Welfare Internationl Trust, said that we want Pakistan to become a global hub for AI, data science, cloud-native computing, blockchain and the Internet of Things.

Vice Chancellor SSUET, Prof. Dr. Vali Uddin, said that Sir Syed University is actively taking part in reshaping Pakistan by revolutionizing education, research, and business by adopting the latest, cutting-edge technologies. The modern era of the fourth industrial revolution with emerging and enabling technologies and systems is bringing a positive impact on improving the quality of life and experience.

Registrar SSUET, Cdre. Syed Sarfraz Ali, said that technical skills help to work more efficiently, boost confidence, and make candidates more valuable for employers. Employees with technical skills are often better at multitasking in challenging and complex roles.
