Dr. Anam Akbar has successfully completed her PhD with a specialization in Computer Science (AI-Computer Vision) from Federal Urdu University of Art science and Technology. I have a research background more than 8 years along with the industry exposure in the field of Software Engineering and consultancy. Some research pieces have published and some research papers are in progress.

Before joining SSUET, I was serving Sindh Institute of Management and Technology as Head of computer Science department, Associate Editor to two research journal published under Hamdard Foundation Pakistan, I also served in Nazeer Hussain University (NHU) and Federal Urdu University of Art Science and Technology (FUUAST) as a lecturer.
Beside the Academic experience, I also served as Software engineer in a Multi national firm THK solutions.
