I am currently Chairman/Associate Professor in Electrical Engineering Department at Sir Syed University of Engineering & Technology (SSUET), Karachi, Pakistan. I hold BE (Electronic Engineering) degree from NED University, Karachi in 1992, MS (Electronic Engineering) in 2007 and PhD (Electronic Engineering) from Sir Syed University of Engineering & Technology (SSUET), Karachi, Pakistan in 2017. I have more than 25 years of field and teaching experience. I am Professional Engineer (P.E.) and registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC), Institution of Engineers Pakistan (IEP) and IEEEP. I am also member of IEEE and Faculty Advisor of IEEE Power and Energy Society (PES) student branch chapter at SSUET. My research areas are Digital Signal Processing, Image Processing and Optical Communication. Also served as reviewer in various journal and conference papers.
