Dr. WALEEJ HAIDER is serving as Chairman, of the Department of Computer Science and Information Technology, SSUET. He qualified for his Ph.D. degree in computer science from the Faculty of Engineering Sciences and Technology, Hamdard University, Karachi in 2021. He received his M.S. degree in computer science from PAF-KIET, Karachi, in 2009.
He served more than 5 years at Pakistan Steel Institute of Computer Science and Research as a lecturer and academic charge. He has been associated with the Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology, since July 2010, where he also served in charge of the BS (IT) Programme as an Assistant Professor. He has 33 national and international journal/conference publications with a book chapter in his account.
His current research interests include agricultural knowledge management, agricultural DSS, WSN, network security, and IoTs. He has given his services as a reviewer of various reputed conferences and a journal.
