Born in Karachi, completed degrees in Math Sc. (Computer Software based), England, B.Sc. Mathematics, Karachi Uni, and M.A. Economics, Karachi Uni. Also completed a number of computer science and management-related certificate courses. Conducted a number of Final Year Projects (FYPs) at SSUET.
