Biography

A dynamic English Language Teacher with over 12 years of experience teaching at renowned public and private sector universities of the city including the University of Karachi, PAF KIET, Indus University, College of Banking & Finance, etc. M.A. in English (Literature) from the University of Karachi & BEd(Hons.) from the Teacher Education department, University of Karachi. A TESOL-certified ELT who has extensive knowledge of teaching English as a second language. Well-versed in 21st-century teaching techniques and approaches, and has a knack for teaching all four skills (reading, writing, speaking & listening) of the English language.A member of the Society of Pakistani English Language Teachers(SPELT) & Linguistics Association of Pakistan(LAP), and a volunteer trainer at SPELT & other universities to train teachers & students about technological integration and digital collaboration in education and career advancement. Research interests include Teacher Education, Teaching Methodologies, English Language Teaching, Teaching Resources in the 21st Century, Sustainable Development Programs, and Climate Change & Education. A staunch believer in Continuous Professional Development, engaged in webinars, and online courses offered by British Council and in the OPEN program by RELO, US Embassy.
