Program Overview

Program Educational Objectives:

PEO1: Technical Proficiency and Application: Graduates will demonstrate a strong foundation in core information technology and information science principles, enabling them to effectively analyze, design, and implement solutions for real-world problems.
Relevant Courses: Programming Fundamentals, Object-Oriented Programming, Data Structures and Algorithms, Database Management Systems, Computer Architecture and Assembly Language, Operating Systems, Cloud Computing Infrastructure, Parallel and Distributed Computing, Machine Learning.

PEO2: Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving: Graduates will apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify, evaluate, and address complex challenges in the field, integrating ethical considerations and societal impact into their decision-making processes.
Relevant Courses: Discrete Structures, Software Engineering, User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) Design, Cyber Security, System & Network Administration, Agile Project Management, Cloud Computing Engineering and Management, Software Quality Assurance & Testing, Information System Audit.

PEO3: Effective Communication and Collaboration: Graduates will communicate technical information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences, collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams, and adapt to evolving technologies and industry trends through continuous learning.
Relevant Courses: Functional English, Communication Skills, Technical Report Writing, Professional Practices, Entrepreneurship, Civics and Community Engagement, Supervised Industrial Training.
