About the Program

The Bachelor of Science in Data Science (BS-DS) program is a rigorous and rewarding four-year degree program that prepares students for careers in data science. The program is grounded in the mathematical and statistical foundations of data science, and it emphasizes the ethical and responsible use of data science. The program also provides students with a strong computer science foundation, which is essential for developing and applying data science techniques.

Program Educational Objectives
This program focuses on three key objectives:
PEO-1: Proficiency in Computing and Analytics: Develop Proficiency in Fundamental Computing and Data Science Concepts and Analytical Skills.
PEO-2: Data-Driven Problem Solving: Apply Computational Knowledge to Solve Real-World Problems using Data Science Techniques.
